Getting started

Open hogline on your watch, tap New Match, pick your stone color and position, and start logging. Each stone is three taps: the shot (draw or hit), the turn, and how it ended up. When the end is decided, use Finish End on the swipe-up page, or triple-tap the score header.

Where hogline is available

The App Store listing is live in the United States and Canada. We're working on bringing hogline to Europe. If you want it in your country, email us and we'll bump it up the list.

Getting back to a game in progress

Open hogline mid-match and it goes straight back to the shot you were on — you don't have to tap through the home screen. To reach your history instead, swipe right from the shot screen to go back.

iCloud sync isn't working

Sync is off by default. Turn on iCloud Sync in hogline's Settings, then relaunch the app. The footer under the toggle tells you its live status. Your watch needs an Apple ID signed into iCloud (it inherits this from your paired iPhone). Everything works offline; games sync automatically the next time your watch is online.

Deleting games or all data

Swipe left on any finished game to delete it from the watch and, if sync is on, from your iCloud. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the watch. Details in the privacy policy.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through them: reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in hogline pushed you to a refund, we'd like to know why. Email us.

Requesting features

hogline is made by a curler who uses it every league night, and the roadmap is shaped by email. If you want something tracked, changed, or removed, say so: support@hogline.app.
